Musical Theater Camps
A whole show in a single week. Our week-long camp intensives are where our youngest Young Artists, ages 6 to 11, take their very first steps on stage, joyful, supportive, and often a family's first taste of Encore.
Musical Theater Camps are Encore's week-long intensive format for our youngest Young Artists, ages 6 to 11, and the very first tier of our Junior Stages pathway. Inspired by classic theater camps, a full show is rehearsed and performed in about a week, with performances running around 30 minutes. The format is charming and endearing, with just enough structure to model what real theater feels like. Joy and curiosity come first.

Week-long intensive
Young Artists rehearse and perform a complete show in about 6 to 8 days, typically culminating in a single performance of about 30 minutes.
Mentored by Encore's Youth Leadership Group
Our Youth Leadership Program participants serve as camp counselors, the secret sauce. Older Young Artists build teaching and leadership skills while supporting the youngest ones.
Built for ages 5–12
Material, pacing, and expectations are designed specifically for our youngest Young Artists, age-appropriate from the first rehearsal to final bows.
Fun and foundational skills
Joy and curiosity come first. Campers pick up the building blocks of singing, acting, and moving on stage in a warm, supportive environment, often their first taste of Encore.
