We are thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming spring Bright Lights of Broadway show. This is an exciting opportunity for performers of all backgrounds to showcase their talents and be part of an incredible production.
Whether you're an experienced performer or trying out for the first time, we encourage you to join us and be part of this wonderful journey. We welcome all levels of experience and are looking for a diverse and enthusiastic group of young artists to come be a part of our fun and energetic show.

Bring your A-game, and be prepared to showcase your vocal range, acting prowess, and stage presence. We are excited to see your talent and versatility in portraying some of the most iconic and complex characters in the theatrical world.
Please prepare two contrasting vocal pieces and plan to sing at least one of them.

Come prepared to sing a 30-60 second cut from a song that showcases your unique singing style and personality.
WHAT TO WEAR
Dress nice for your audition! Comfortable clothes to dance in. Jazz shoes optional

CONFLICTS
All conflicts need to be listed on audition forms. Any other conflicts will need to be approved on a case by case basis. Only two excused absences are permitted per semester. Only one unexcused absence per semester. Unexcused means: no showing or other reason for missing rehearsal that was not approved by Kelby or Kristen. Any more than that will result in removal from certain numbers or entire performances without the option of tuition refund.

Aspire is growing! 3 years old and we have learned so much! Our staff is expanding which allows us to focus even more on our young performers to give them the best experience possible.
PARENT LIAISONS
“It takes a village!” At Aspire Performing Company, we believe that strong communication and collaboration with parents are essential to the success of our young performers. We are looking for parents who would be interested and willing to play the role of parent liaison volunteer for their performer’s group.
TEAM CAPTAINS
Are you a passionate performer over the age of 14 with a knack for leadership? Aspire Performing Company invites you to apply for the role of Team Captain! This is your chance to take the lead in music or choreography within your group. ASPIRE AMBASSADORS
Are you an enthusiastic performer over the age of 16 looking to take on a leadership role? Aspire Performing Company is excited to offer the new opportunity to become an Aspire Ambassador! As an Ambassador, you will assist the director in working with younger performer groups, providing guidance, support, and inspiration. Meet your director!
Kelby Tyrrell
Kelby is a graduate of Dixie State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dance. While attending DSU, She held the position of Dance captain for Dixie's song and dance performance team, Raging Red, where she was able to travel and perform nationally and internationally. Kelby was crowned Miss Dixie State University in 2016 and had the opportunity to compete at Miss Utah in June of 2017. Kelby is currently a dance instructor at Westside Studio in St. George, UT. In 2016 she had the opportunity to choreograph and dance for Merrill Osmond’s, “Alive & Kickin’”, at the Casa Blanca in Mesquite, NV. She has been fortunate to be involved as a choreographer and performer in community theatre’s throughout Southern Utah. Kelby has been awarded many vocal and dance scholarships throughout high school and college. She has been involved in the performing arts as long as she can remember, and is grateful that she can make a career out of her passion for the arts.

Aspire can accommodate ages 7-18. It should be noted that high school graduates are not eligible to participate as a performer.

Yes! Encore and Aspire want to welcome as many young performers as possible and don’t want finances to be an issue. That said, we only have a few scholarships available each semester so apply today! You can apply here.

Yes! We have taken our groups to California, Disneyland and on cruises to perform. There are always new performance opportunities for our groups!

Yes! We ask that each performance ne attended by every performer.
