A Christmas Carol
A new musical adaptation of Dickens' timeless story, featuring Corbin Allred as Ebenezer Scrooge. Audition to sing, dance, and act alongside a professional lead in Encore's holiday production.
A holiday classic, reimagined
Encore Performing Arts invites Young Artists ages 13–18 to audition for A Christmas Carol: A New Musical, featuring Corbin Allred as Ebenezer Scrooge. Step into Dickens' beloved story of redemption and bring the ghosts, the streets of London, and one unforgettable Christmas Eve to life on stage.
This is a Show with a Pro: Young Artists rehearse and perform alongside a professional lead, learning what it takes to carry a full holiday production. Whether you're a seasoned performer or stepping into the spotlight for the first time, it's a chance to grow your craft and be part of a new musical that becomes a St. George holiday tradition.

About the younger roles
We want to be straight with families. There are only a handful of these roles in the show, and we expect many more Young Artists to audition than there are places. Auditioning is not a guarantee of casting, and not being cast is never a reflection of your Young Artist’s ability or their future with Encore.
These roles will be auditioned and called back separately from the main company, on their own dates with their own sign-up. We will post those details here as soon as they are set, so please check back rather than signing up for the September calls.
Questions in the meantime? Get in touch and we will talk it through.
