Tolerance at Encore!

Encore's Statement of Inclusion and opposition to Hate and Racism

At Encore, we are committed to fostering an environment of inclusivity, respect, and love for all. We believe that every child, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or ability, deserves the opportunity to express themselves and thrive through the arts.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

We celebrate diversity and are dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space where all children feel valued and supported. Our programs are designed to encourage creativity, build confidence, and promote understanding and empathy among our participants.

No to Hate and Racism

We stand firmly against all forms of hate, racism, and discrimination. We do not tolerate any behavior that undermines the dignity and rights of any individual. Our school and theater is a place where everyone is treated with kindness and respect, and where differences are celebrated as strengths.

Actions We Take

  • Education and Awareness: We provide ongoing training for our staff and volunteers on diversity, equity, and inclusion to ensure that our practices align with our values.

  • Inclusive Programming: We design our productions and workshops to reflect the diverse world we live in, showcasing stories and perspectives from all backgrounds.

  • Safe Space: We have clear policies in place to address and prevent any incidents of hate or discrimination, ensuring that our theater remains a safe space for all.

Our Promise

We promise to listen, learn, and grow as we work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable community. We invite all children and their families to join us in this mission, and we are committed to being allies in the fight against hate and racism.

Together, we can create a place where every child shines and every voice is heard.
