What is this Show with a Pro all about?
Well!! Lemme tell ya!
Show with a Pro combines the incredible talents of seasoned and accomplished professional actors/production team with the up and coming generation of young and promising future professionals.
Student cast members are able to learn from our professionals as role models within the cast demonstrating professional rehearsal practices, attitude, and respect for the process. Our professionals also allow for further acting coaching that helps raise the level and expectation of individual performers.
Meet our Pros
Britannia Howe
Britannia Howe is a stage director and arts advocate, who holds dual degrees in Classical Acting and Theatre Education and has worked with companies such as Nomad Theatre Company, the Cabaret Theatre, Willow Wind Players, the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, The Utah Shakespeare Festival, and the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. She recently directed her own adaptation of Cymbeline at the Utah Shakespeare Festival and the Illinois Shakespeare Festival’s touring production of Romeo & Juliet. In which she served as director and tour manager. Both in the theatre and in life, she has the reputation for making magic happen with extremely limited resources and has a great gift for building partnerships and pulling together creative minds.
Brandon Burk
Brandon has over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry as a professional actor, singer, director and coach. Notably, his acting credits include the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Nevada Conservatory Theatre [NCT], the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and an Off Broadway production of his one person show, Invention. He holds an M.F.A. from UNLV’s Professional Actor Training Program and a B.A. in Theatre from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has worked as an instructor and coach of acting, dialects/speech, and stage combat for numerous shows on the Las Vegas Strip, the NCT, the Las Vegas Academy of Performing and Visual Arts, as well as private students since 2004. Brandon is the former Artistic Director of The Onyx Theatre and Off-Strip Productions in Las Vegas, former Director of Operations for Access Theatre in New York City, and he is co-owner of InterMountain Performing Arts Conservatory [IMPAC].
Danielle Sheather
Danielle Lydia Sheather, Canadian born dancer, choreographer, artist, and educator, considers herself a life-long learner and an arts advocate. Her professional training includes the Paul Taylor Winter Intensive, Limón Spring Studies Program, Horton Pedagogy Workshop, Centre National de la Danse, Off Jazz Stage d'été, and One Body One Career Countertechnique Intensive in Melbourne Australia. She has performed both nationally and internationally in various settings from commercial to concert dance on both television and stage including national commercials for Busch Gardens Williamsburg and the International Dance Festival at the Duke on Broadway.
Jacob Lee
Jacob Lee is intrigued by the ability for storytelling in music and seeks to compose pieces both accessible and stimulating. He accomplishes this by drawing inspiration from a variety of musical sources, engaging listeners from myriad backgrounds. Jacob earned a masters degree in music composition at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and a bachelors degree in piano performance at Southern Utah University. He currently is working on a PhD in music composition, as well as a concurrent masters degree in music theory at the University of Oregon.
