Encore Performing Arts Lights Up the 2024 4th of July Parade
Encore Performing Arts was thrilled to participate in the City of St. George’s 2024 4th of July Parade, and it was an event filled with pride, joy, and spectacular performances. The early start at 7:45 am didn’t dampen spirits as the community gathered along Tabernacle Street, ready to celebrate the nation’s independence.
A Patriotic Parade to Remember
This year's theme, "Land of the free, because of the brave," provided a poignant reminder of the sacrifices that have shaped our nation. Encore Performing Arts embraced this theme, paying tribute to the brave men and women who have fought for our freedoms while showcasing the incredible talents of our performers.
Encore’s Parade Highlights
Vibrant Performances: Our float featured energetic dance routines and snippets from our upcoming production of "101 Dalmatians," capturing the essence of fun and creativity that Encore is known for. Performers, dressed as adorable Dalmatians, charmed the audience with their lively moves and infectious enthusiasm.
Community Engagement: Our performers interacted with the crowd, waving flags and sharing smiles, creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere. It was heartwarming to see the community come together to celebrate this special day.
Post-Parade Festivities
Following the parade, the celebration continued at Town Square Park from 10 am to 1 pm. Encore’s members mingled with the community, enjoying the various activities, food, and entertainment. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with local residents and share more about our programs and upcoming performances.
The day concluded with a breathtaking fireworks display at 10:00 pm, launched from Greater Zion Stadium at Utah Tech University. The fireworks lit up the night sky, providing a perfect end to a day filled with patriotism and celebration.
